We build rods to the customer's specifications!  Rougarou Rods has access to a enormous variety of blanks, guides, reel seats and grips in which to build your one-of-a-kind rod.  Through our interview process, we learn what you fish, how you fish and your wants so we can design what you need to enjoy your time on the water with the best equipment possible.

Every custom rod starts with a blank and guides.  These two components are the majority of the cost of the rod.  We match your fishing style, class of fish, and environment with these componets so that you get the most enjoyment from your rod for your situation.  With a custom rod, you're not forced to use what everyone else is using but can tweak components to have a specialized, unique tool.

Once we have all your requirements and agreed on a price, we begin transforming your ideas into your very own custom rod.  We can give you updates on the way or you can wait for the final reveal for the surprise...totally up to you.  Afterall, this is your rod, your way.
